Coca-Cola Visitors Experience Awarded RNIB 'Model of Excellence'
The Coca-Cola Visitors Experience, situated at the company’s sustainable manufacturing facility at Lisburn, Co. Antrim has been awarded the ‘Model of Excellence’ by the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB).
The award is part of a new project, through which the RNIB aims to promote inclusive social and cultural experiences, heighten visual awareness within businesses and ensure that all information is accessible for blind and partially sighted people.
Speaking of this accreditation, a representative from the RNIB explained, “The organisation is extremely proactive in the area of staff training and it was felt that The Coca-Cola Visitors Experience was a strong applicant for a Model of Excellence as regards accessibility and inclusion. The service that is provided is customer orientated and procedures and staff training ensure that all customers - whether they are blind/partially sighted or have any other disability - receive an individual service.”
